DANDENONG RANGES PRIVATE DAY TOUR

Get out of the city and spend a relaxing day in the beautiful mountains and forests of the Dandenong Ranges.

Less than an hour's drive from Melbourne City.

Take a walk on the wildside and explore the majestic and ancient forest of the Dandenong Ranges on a leisurely and easy walk, and if we're lucky, we might spot the elusive and elegant Lyrebird. Learn about the flora and fauna and the history of the First Nations people of the area.

After taking in the fresh air on the walk, we’ll make our way to a cosy restaurant nearby for lunch. Food and drinks are not included in the price.

We will then make our way to one of the iconic cool climate gardens called the Alfred Nicholas Gardens, which has a Japanese inspired lake garden towards the bottom of a hill.

Depending on how you’re feeling, we will make our way after to the stunning Dandenong Ranges Botanic Gardens, which is home to the new award winning Chelsea Australian garden, which showcases the beauty and variety of the Australian native flora in an amazing landscaped space.

In spring, the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Gardens becomes a wonder with a kaleidoscope of colour from flowering of Azaleas and Rhododendrons.

Autumn is another spectacular time to visit the Dandenong ranges to see the beautiful autumn colours in the cool climate gardens.

After spending a day in nature, we’ll make our way back to the city.
