DANDENONG RANGES TOUR INCLUDING THE WILLIAM RICKETTS SANCTUARY

Get out of the city and spend a relaxing day in the beautiful mountains and forests of the Dandenong Ranges.

In the tranquility of the forest, discover the unique sculptures of Aboriginal people, and learn about their culture and spirituality, at the wonderous William Ricketts Sanctuary.

Enjoy a wholesome lunch at a homely and cosy restaurant. All dietary requirements are catered for. Drinks are not included however.

Explore the majestic and ancient forest of the Dandenong Ranges on a leisurely and easy walk, and if we're lucky, we might spot the elusive and elegant Lyrebird.

Intimate tour of maximum 3 people, so it's a personal experience.

Pick up time of 10.30am in the city and finish around 4.30pm, so no early starts, and you have plenty of time in the evening to do other things.

Easy and comfortable pick up time of 10.30am in front of St Pauls Cathedral, in the city.

We then make our way out of the city towards the mountains, which is only 45 minutes away from the city.

Our first stop is the beautiful William Ricketts Sanctuary, where you will be discovering the unique sculptures of Aboriginal people, in the forest, and learn about their culture and spirituality. 

After the sanctuary, we'll make our way to a local restaurant, which is cosy and homely. Here you will be having a lovely and wholesome meal for lunch. Drinks are not included though.

We'll then make our way to the main forest in the mountains, for a leisurely and fairly easy walk. Here you'll get a chance to experience the majesty of a eucalyptus and fern tree forest. If we're lucky, we might even run into the elegant and elusive Lyrebird.

After the walk in the forest, we'll make our way back to the city, and get back around 4.30pm.

If you have any difficulties walking, let your guide know and he will customise the day for you.

Having a maximum of up to 3 people in a tour means that it's a personal experience with the tour guide.
